Atari Patrucci
Here are the last photos from my visits to Summer of Arts 2015 at Metropolis Metaversum which may have ended on October 31. I’d thought it would be open until the 14th of November.
This beautiful building had a sign out front saying “Work in Progress” when I was there. It is gorgeous and I spent time taking in the details.
Pictures can’t possibly do justice to the colorful and dynamic art I strolled around in.
This was an interesting adventure to explore. It looked like an architectural sculpture to me and then a few weeks later I read that there’d been a Dj and a party event.
While I was there I looked over the surrounding structures, again realizing there was no way I could see and photograph everything.
I walked through this changing construct which was very colorful and dynamic. I can’t even describe it; you had to be there.
This area was very animated.
That is my Metropolis Pearl Grey avatar trying the chairs at Art Blue’s installation. Each seat offered a cammed in view of a different art space in the surrounding area. I very much appreciated this as I was becoming sleepy and had been exploring for hours. Art Blue documents works of other artists as well as creating performances himself. Here is a recent video of a performance he did at Sim Futurelab in Metropolis Grid.
At this point I crashed and stubbornly logged in again, soon finding myself back in the 2D art where I noticed some things I’d missed before.
Here is a site with information about the artists participating in this event.

Actually we decide to finally call it the GERNGROSS MUSEUM, becuase it´s based on an old architectural model by Heidulf Gerngross from the 60´s

After all this years i try to forward your Blogpost again, I still fight with this wordpress functions. It’s a mass… I can build such things and animate interactive conceptual art, but when it comes to manage a simple blog, i´m fail and feel like the worst noob lol
Friendly Greetings and thanks again for the nice documentation and your brilliant pics! 🙂
You are very welcome. I’ve found that when I learn to navigate a site well enough, things change and it becomes confusing again. I have not been going into opensim because THAT has become to difficult for me.
Good to hear from you. 🙂
Yeah! Same here! My old websides are kind of broken too because of this https… i still try to figure it out… but it’s all a question of time 😉
