The virtual converted barn that served as a studio for Hemingway in the 1930’s can be seen at ASU Heritage Island. Part of A Farewell to Arms was written here. The studio was on the property of the parents of his second wife, Pauline Pfeiffer in Piggott, Arkansas. The virtual Pfeiffer mansion is nearby. I have photos of it which I’ll post soon but it would be great if you would go see it for yourself. It looks like it would have been a peaceful place to write. And the cats must surely have enjoyed it.It’s simple but the comforts of the mansion were close.
