I’m more comfortable with the word appreciation than I am with the word gratitude, just one of those nuances.
Some things that I appreciate are the blogs I like to read here and the bloggers who stop by with a comment or a click of the like button.

I too appreciate the word appreciation. To me, it has the subtlety and range in helping us to define our feelings about the great and the small things in our lives we notice, appreciate, and for which we are, at times, full of thanks and gratitude. Gratefulness seems to be a strong word, almost too overpowering a word when we’re not feeling quite thankful enough, as thankful as we should be. It can almost bring with it a sense of guilt for our lack of gratefulness.
But I am beginning to feel gratefulness as a quietly profound sense of appreciation, contentment in knowing all is well, or all is as it is, and that I do feel that always, just sometimes more noticeably than other times.
I am grateful, and it is quite powerful.
I know of that place of which you speak; I’ve been there. Thanks for stopping by.
I love your snapshots from that other world (:
Thanks; I enjoy just walking around, looking at things and taking snapshots.
I have 29 GB of photos of Seraphim’s adventures in SL (:
