I live in half of the building in the background, the side on the right of the photo. The large raven sits on the fountain statue all the time and I can hear it in my room.
No, they are simply shallow pans for the water to run out of. There is a sort of moss hanging off of them. The angle of the photo makes it seem like there is something on a tray. Tomorrow I’ll post a photo from a different angle. As always, you can click on it and enlarge it.
Many of these scenes are inspirational for writing. Lately I’ve become almost obsessed with Pinterest for that very reason too, especially photos of ruins and abandoned places.
That is a little complicated. Pearl Grey is a Victorian character.
The Medieval character I play had trouble finding a home; her name is Wren Alcyone. But I didn’t want to change my avatar’s name and I had trouble centering the name title of Wren above the characters head. It was floating off to the side and I have little skill and patience for fixing things like that. So I simply changed the name to Pearl Grey since people were addressing me as that. She isn’t a time traveler, but her personality is kind of the same; I’m stubborn that way.
I guess I could write an unpleasant character in a novel but I don’t want to play one, if that makes sense.
I have folders of outfits with hair. Some are Victorian clothes, some Medieval, some are Asian/Cyber/Grunge and some are contemporary. If I want to do something with other people, I have to go to the time period and place where other people are available. It doesn’t take as long to change clothes as in real life but still I get tired of it.
That all sounds really complicated, but I’m sure if you spend time playing it gets easier. It also sounds soooooo addicting. I must control myself…
😀
That fountain is beautiful. What is the woman holding in her arms?
Is it food and drink?

Yes, thank you. I did click on it–beautiful.
I love this picture…It is almost exactly the same as a picture I have in my head. A story waiting to take root.

I haven’t ever been to Pinterest…I guess I must go have a look around. Pinterest.com, right?
How fast that your avatar change time periods?
