There’s something healing about listening to birdsong.

I’ve survived a lot by adapting to increasing levels of crazy around me. Lately I’ve been a sounding board and a good listener to anxious people, putting one foot in front in the other.

I understand the power of habit in continuing to care for my life and my commitments during dry times and down cycles. This blog is a sort of touchstone for me and it’s one of my little rituals that helps me feel I’m at least maintaining. Sometimes the people you want to be there for will all need you at once and you simply do the best you can.
